ReadyGenome ("we," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy, especially your genomic data — the most sensitive personal information that exists. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
We collect information you provide when ordering a kit and joining our waitlist: name, email, shipping address, and payment information. We also collect biological samples (saliva) for genome sequencing. The resulting genomic data file is stored in your personal vault.
We use your information to process orders, perform genome sequencing through our laboratory partners, store your genomic data securely, communicate with you about your vault, and improve our services.
Your genomic data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit. It is stored in HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure. We do NOT sell, share, license, or provide your genomic data to any third party — including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, or insurance companies — under any circumstances. Access to your vault requires your explicit authorization for each instance.
We work with CLIA-certified laboratories to perform genome sequencing. Laboratories receive your biological sample for processing only and do not retain your genomic data after sequencing is complete. All laboratory partners are bound by strict data handling agreements.
We implement industry-leading security measures including AES-256 encryption, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, access controls, regular security audits, and incident response procedures.
You have the right to access your genomic data at any time, download your complete genomic file, request deletion of your data, opt out of marketing communications, and control who has access to your vault.
